The sofa was an interactive piece carried out at Belper farmers market on a cold morning. Participants were invited to draw, or make marks on a crisp white sofa, using black marker pens. After a slow start and a rather sceptical audience, 97people added their images and marks to the sofa. The youngest was almost 2, and the eldest, a 93year old war veteran who sat and spoke to me about his love of photography and cameras.
